ASSOCIATION APIARY

We have established an Association Apiary. It is used by WLBKA principally for training new members, and sharing our knowledge and love of beekeeping with the wider community.

​

Our aims for the apiary are:

• Encourage the use of native / near-native honey bees

• Promote the craft of bee keeping

• Train new beekeepers

• Rear bees to supply stocks to new beekeepers

• Inform Non-beekeepers about honey bees

The apiary was established as a partnership between West Linton and District Beekeepers' Association and Sustainable West Linton and District, with the support of Scottish Borders Council’s Community Fund (Tweeddale).
