ASSOCIATION APIARY

We have established an Association Apiary. It is used by WLBKA principally for supporting our current members, training new beekeepers, and sharing our knowledge and love of beekeeping with the wider community.

Our aims for the apiary are:

  • Train new beekeepers

  • Encourage the use of native / near-native honey bees

  • Promote the craft of bee keeping

  • Rear bees to supply stocks to new beekeepers

  • Inform Non-beekeepers about honey bees

If you would like to visit the apiary and meet the bees please click here to contact our secretary and request a visit.

The apiary was established as a partnership between West Linton and District Beekeepers' Association and Sustainable West Linton and District, with the support of Scottish Borders Council’s Community Fund (Tweeddale).
